  I thought Joy did a great job! Appraising a home is a difficult process, one that if you are not in the business, is hard to fully understand. She was quick and she was accurate. In contradiction to the person who complained about her being fast, as a real estate agent, I appreciate a quick response ... it means she is on top of her work, it does NOT mean she was lazy... just the opposite in fact! Something to note, if your neighbor's home is not the same as yours in type (ranch vs 2-story, etc) and similar to yours in size, features, year built, etc, an appraiser may not be able to use it as a comp. So even if another home in your area sold for the price you would like to get for yours, it doesn't mean yours automatically will appraise for that amount. Just food for thought!
